Using slack incoming webhooks for notifications

The default notification is by email (to your login email address). You can add more address to be notified in your ‘Profile’ settings.

The second (and probably better) way for notifications is slack.

With slack incoming webhooks you can receive notifications in (almost) realtime in your (ops) team chat.

To enable slack notifications:

1. Set up incoming-webhooks in slack here
2. Copy & paste the generated Webhook URL from step 1 to your ‘Profile’ settings and save.

That’s it. Notifications about failover states and checks will be displayed in your configured channel.
